Meet The Team
Everything Autism is made up of a highly specialist team who have extensive experience, knowledge and skills of not only the autism diagnostic assessment process but also working with and supporting children, young people and adults in the autism community.
The team have worked closely together for a number of years; something which we place great valuable on and feel is hugely beneficial to the clients we work with.
Rebecca McLean
Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist
Rebecca has worked as a Speech & Language Therapist since graduating from the University of Manchester in 2006.
She has worked across a variety of settings including working within the NHS and in specialist schools.
She has worked supporting clients with complex needs including hearing impairment, sensory processing differences, and autistic individuals. She specialised in working within autism diagnostics in 2016 and is passionate about ensuring every person receives an assessment which is based on individual need.
She is qualified in administering specialist autism diagnostic assessments (ADOS-2, ADI-R and ACIA).
Rebecca is an ex swimmer and loves sport. She is a Mum to two and enjoys watching live comedy.

Jaclyn Roche
Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist
Jaclyn qualified with a BSc Hons in Clinical Language Science – Speech & Language Therapy from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2004.
She has worked with autistic people throughout all of her career. She has worked across a range of clinical areas within the NHS, including supporting people with complex needs and specific speech and language needs.
She has specialised in autism diagnostics since 2010. Jaclyn is approachable, compassionate and knowledgeable. She has personal insight into autism; close members of her family are autistic.
Jaclyn has completed formal training in the administration of the ADI-R, ADOS-2 and ACIA assessments.
Jaclyn is a mum of two boys. She enjoys being outdoors, reading, travelling and yoga. She really likes cooking for friends and family.

Sarah Neal
Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist
Sarah has 24 years of experience working within the NHS and independent sector.
She is highly skilled and experienced in the assessment of children with complex developmental and communication difficulties and currently also works for Leeds Community Healthcare as part of the Pre-school autism assessment service.
She is qualified in the administration of both the ADI-R and ADOS-2 assessments.
Sarah is mum to two children and loves spending time with her family and friends.
She is an animal lover and enjoys a range of physical activities including running, gym, dancing and skiing.
She is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children with additional needs and the family around them.

Dr Hannah Armitt
Principal Clinical Psychologist
Hannah has over 15 years clinical experience working with adults, children and families in the NHS, University, and private settings.
She has specific training and experience in child and adult autism assessment including use of the ADOS-2, ADI-R and ACIA assessment tools. She has experience of carrying out cognitive assessments with individuals across the lifespan and interpreting these results and reporting them in ways which can be readily applied in everyday life.
Hannah has also provided specialist therapeutic support to neurodivergent individuals.
Hannah likes to work using Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) models. In addition to working clinically Hannah has roles working in research and at The University of York.
Hannah has a special interest in how nature and green spaces can support mental health and enjoys long walks in the country.
Hannah is also an avid traveller and always keen to explore new cultures and experiences.

Dr Sally Morley
Principal Clinical Psychologist
Sally obtained her degree in Psychology from the University of Hull in 2004 before completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2007.
Sally has worked in NHS child mental health and paediatric health services since qualifying. Over this time, she has worked with neurodivergent people and individuals with mental health difficulties including anxiety, low mood, and eating disorders.
Sally has always had an interest in the assessment and support of autistic children and young people. She specialised 8 years ago in the assessment of autism and has previously worked as clinical lead in an Autism assessment team in the NHS.
Sally has specialist training in a range of Autism assessment tools including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – 2 (ADOS-2), Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R), Diagnostic Interview for Social Communication Disorders (DISCO), and ACIA.
Sally is a mum of two and enjoys going to the gym and watching live music in her spare time.

Nic McNamara
Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist
Nic has worked as a Speech and Language Therapist within the NHS for over 20 years, since qualifying from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2000.
Nic has experience working with autistic children and adults and/or Intellectual disabilities. She has worked in educational settings, community learning disability teams and specialist secure inpatient provision. She has spent the last 12 years working part time for Merseycare NHS Foundation Trust (was Calderstones NHS Trust) in a forensic community team where she is the clinical lead for autism. This is a multi-disciplinary team which aims to support vulnerable people who are involved in the criminal justice system. Many of the people she works with also experience mental health difficulties. Nic has also been part of autism diagnostic teams within the NHS and in independent practice.
Nic is particularly passionate about working with autistic girls and women to support them to recognise and acknowledge their strengths, reduce their anxiety-provoking masking behaviours and to feel empowered.
Nic is a Mum of two who enjoys outdoors and most things sport related but especially fell running and wild swimming.

Dr Emma Jones
Principal Clinical Psychologist
Emma obtained her degree in Psychology from the University of Hull in 2004 before completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2007.
Emma has worked in NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health services since qualifying. Emma has worked with children and young people presenting with mental health difficulties, including anxiety and depression, attachment difficulties and complex developmental trauma. Emma has also worked in Autism assessment services within the NHS.
Emma has specific training and experience in autism assessments, including the use of the ADOS-2 and ADI-R assessment tools.
Emma enjoys walking her dog, going to the gym and spending time with family and friends.

Helen Sainty
Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Since graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2005, Helen has worked within the NHS for 17 years. This has provided the opportunity to work in different settings including specialist schools and child development centres.
During this time, Helen has worked across a variety of clinical areas, including learning disabilities, autism and specific speech and language needs.
Helen is qualified in the administration of ADOS-2 and ACIA assessments and has specific experience in working in autism assessment since 2015. She is a dedicated clinician who is committed to helping people through the assessment process. She has personal experience of this through close family members who are autistic.
Helen is a mum of two and enjoys being active and outdoors ranging from yoga to country walks.

Naomi Clasper
Specialist Nurse & Neurodevelopmental Practitioner
Naomi qualified as a Learning Disability Nurse in 2002. Naomi worked in the NHS for 21 years in a range of roles including supporting adults and children who have a learning Disability; roles included supporting people with physical and mental health needs.
Naomi began specialising in autism assessments and post diagnostic support in 2008 and is passionate about good quality assessments and support.
Naomi is also trained in the completion of ADHD assessments. Naomi has specific training in ADOS-2, ADI-R and ACIA assessment tools.
Naomi has 3 children and in her free time enjoys Yoga and walking her dog in the countryside.

Naomi is a registered Learning Disability Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
